The Perfect Polish

Every car owner treats his own car as his pride and this is also the same for me. I don’t want to see any dusts on my car and neither do I want to see any scratches in it. One of the ways to keep your car looking good all the time is to polish it on a regular basis. This process must be carefully done and a simple procedure should be followed. To start off, wash your car using a solution that is specifically formulated for cars. This will remove the surface dirt and dust on your car.

After that, wipe of excess water on your car before you putting car polish. You can use a synthetic leather in doing this. After applying car polish to every inch of your car, buff your car using a soft micro fiber buffing cloth. Make sure to pay extra attention to little corners of your car that you might miss.

By following these simple steps and doing them in a regular basis, you can be sure that you are always driving a hot ride.

Future Cars Designs

It is really amazing how cars and other vehicles evolved over the past years. There have been some futuristic visions about them in the past and I can tell that we are not far from seeing them turn into reality. In addition to great designs, there are a lot of new feature being added to cars every year. With the latest technology, design program and creativity of car model designers, I’m pretty sure that people will be amazed what future cars will be able to do.

One of the latest additions to cars is the auto drive feature where you can drive a car for miles without holding the steering wheel. This is of course only possible is freeways where there’s a lot of space for your car and the road is just straight. Cars that have this feature are usually luxury cars. Another new car feature that I love is the stability control system where the car’s tires and suspension adjusts by it self when the steering wheel loses control. This avoids accidents and provides added safety.

There are a lot of new features in cars and it would take me forever to describe them all to you. With continuous car technology innovation, we can expect a better ride each time a new car model is released in the market.

Discount Gas Cards

When gas prices were one dollar a gallon, you rarely heard anyone complaining about the gas prices. Once they hit that three dollar a gallon mark, it seemed like the whole country went mad. Like anything in life, there are plenty of ways to save money on gas. Below, we’ve listed a few ways on how you can save money so you don’t have to pay the full price at the pump.

Check the Internet

The Internet is filled with a ton of information, you basically have the world at your fingertips. There are plenty of web sites out there that will show you how much gas is in your area. Believe it or not, a few miles can make a difference when it comes to a price per gallon. Check web sites like gasbuddy and gaspricewatch when it comes to checking out gas prices in your area. When you find a cheap price, make sure you drive or make way for that gas station.

Target the poor areas

If you live in a fairly moderate neighborhood, you may want to jump to the other side of town and go to that gas station. Make sure that neighborhood is safe before you fill up. The reason poorer areas have cheaper gas is due to the property taxes, etc. Poorer areas generally have lower taxes, therefore making gas prices a lot cheaper than the wealthy areas.

Sign up for for a wholesale club

Places like CostCo and Sam’s Club always have cheaper gas that the mainstream gas stations. This is because of their membership fees. In order to fill up with gas at these gas stations, you’re going to have to have a membership to fill up. Sometimes you may find that these memberships pay off for you in the long run because of the savings. Other than saving on gas, you’ll also find that the prices of goods in the store pay off as well.

Consider a discount gas card

As mentioned in the title, this is probably the best way to save on gas. There are so many credit card offers out there, some people forget to realize that there are ways to save money on gas. A gas rebate credit card generally allows you save about five percent per gallon. This may not sound like a lot but this is five cents per dollar. If gas is at three dollars a gallon, you’re saving fifteen cents a gallon! As you can imagine, this can add up quite quickly.

Use your imagination when it comes to saving on gas. Other ways to find out how to save on gas are local gas price wars, where the owners will compete by lowering their gas prices, look for cash only gas stations as these gas stations offer lower prices, and another way is to look for coupons. Yes, gas stations sometimes do offer gas coupons. There are a ton of ways to save on gas and you shouldn’t be paying full price for your gas anymore. By: Tom Tessin

Government Car Auctions

If you are looking for a good car, a good used car, then you have probably scoured the internet looking for a good deal. Most people look to eBay or community sites like Craigslist to find a good used car. The fact is when looking for something thats used you tend to get things “as-is” meaning that you cant be very picky with what you find. Sometimes you can get a unbelievable deal and come out on top with the exact car you hand in mind, other times you just settle for the vehicle you see in front of you, at the price your budget allows.

Government car auctions have been a really good source for used cars for a long time now. Many types of vehicles are sold here, new cars, used cards, suv’s, trucks, trailers…whatever the government has seized, thats what you see. It is not uncommon to find a new car for less than $1000, or even less–a lot less. We’re talking used cars that have been seized by government agencies such as the FBI, DEA etc. Finding used cars at a local dealership for this cheap will probably never happen, that is why most dealers visit these government car auctions and purchase these “like-new” vehicles and sell them for a much inflated price.

The government usually charges a fee to participate in one of these auctions, although the cost is negated because of the deals found at used car auctions. So, if you bought a 2005 Toyota Camry for $1,500 and your entry fee was $10, then you just purchased a $25,000 vehicle for $1510, pretty sweet if you ask me. Used cars, depending on the model, nowadays are getting rather cheap. Cars that hold their value well are still not worth as much as they were a couple years ago, the economy is changing the way used cars are priced.

Where can you find government car auctions? well, that is something you have to search for. In the newspapers, magazines, ads on the radio and television and even on the internet. Now you don’t even need to leave your home to buy a car from used car auctions. You could check out this site here, Government Car Auctions and search and look around for the used car you want. Maybe among all the fluff you can find a diamond in the rough. Used cars can also be a pain to deal with if you don’t inspect the car right before you purchase it, this is somewhat hard to do at government car auctions since the cars are sold “as-is”.
